What does it feel like to be a American? How do people face their Amercia Way of Life? The American Way of Life is a way to look deep inside your life. There are many aspects that Americans can depend on. Such as the economy, resources, and democracy. People have different views on how they survive throughout the AWOL. Every single one of us have many types if experiences of living according to their country, how they are raised, and their own point of views. However, judging each indivisuals survival, many Americans dont have the opportuinity to fullfill their expectations on life.

According ti my family beliefs, the way to be an American is to have pride and wealth. But, the most important aspect is freedom. i am implying that money is capable of buying happiness but so is trying to finding a way to live a good life, filled with happiness. The steps of earning that freedom is by having a good education, which would gradually lead to getting yourself a good job or career, then you;ll be able to build your own living.

Not only does our expertations steer our life, purpose of the Contitution are to allow people to have equal rights and a chance to be part of the country. Each amendments has its own meaning which bring wealth and freed to others. The Constitution ensures that laws in any other states should be respected. This means that there could be gay marriage and cannot stop people from doing something legal in their state. Rich people arent allow to have slaves to work for them because the Constitution restated that if slaves fled from their owner, non- white people are able to get slaves. The amendments also allow people to hold guns for their own protection. But of course, not everyone should be able to have a gun because of the bad training. It is also dangerous for a children to be carrying a gun because it may run loose. The amendments also allow female to vote because there could be a change in the future, when there is a female president. The Constitution gaves America the freedom and equality. This allow people to be safe. Also the amendments also brings safelty to the state, because they have those machine that search people.

Holidays is a celebration where families and friends becomes one group of the society. People from all over the world, join together and celebrate holidays. This year during Thankgiving vacation, i didn not do much. I mostly stay at home and log on to my computer. Since, my family doesnt celebrate Thankgiving, i think theres no meaning of this holiday. Thankgiving is suppose to be a holiday to be with your friends and family and give thanks, but people gives thank to one other when it is a normal day. I notice that this holiday reveals the American Way of Life by having a big dinner but in the lifestyle in American we have dinner everyday with the same people.

Black Friday happens to be on Thankgiving. I was at New Jersey with my anut and cousin, My cousin wanted to go shopping and i dont see the point of this day. Wow, it is great it is half percent off but people are so greedy. When i got to Preium Outlet, the price wasnt half percent off, it was almost near the orginial price. When i heard about the Wal Mart event that a man was trumpled to death during black friday. People just rush in and doesnt give a shit whether a pregnant lady fell, babies on the floor. Why you need black friday, you just need a normal day and shop. I seem a lot of people on the weekend going shopping and got a lot of shit. People trying to save money is the reason, which brings death. This is American Way of Liufe, people doesnt give a shit about others, just themselves. Money is the obession.

Although Christmas happens to be once in a year and i wasnt looking forward spending my time in the house with my mom telling me what to do. I want to go out and hang out with my girlfriend or friends. I dont recieve gifts, i dont enjoy it with my family. So i thnk this holiday is also a lie. Christmas is suppose to be a break for celebration. I didnt do shit and have empty handed. But this year, 2008, i lied to my parent about going to New Jersey to learn how to drive, but deadass, i wanted to get away from my parent. I had fun with my cousin and recieve gifts from my girlfriend and friends. I dont know how other family celebrate it but Chinese parent doesnt allow their kid to go out in such a holiday like this. This show that the American Way of Life is filled with lies and greeds.

According to the topic of the American Way of Life, i was interviewing people about their own personal thoughts on the American Way of Life. I notice that there were many patterns. Many brought up the issues of making money, looking for business and receiving freedoms.The first person I interview was around my school and she is a black single mother, who is taking care of 3 children and her disabled brother. By the way she dresses I think she is around the poor class. Her opinion about the American way of life is wondering why life is so hard to survive. “I am just a single mother and I just pick my kids up from school. Their father left them and I don’t think I can manage to watch my kids.” “I just want to know when I can get a break.” Basically, this single mother thinks that the American way of life is unsatisfied. It is overwhelming and distracting. Overall it is causing too much trouble for her to do many things at a time.

The second person I interview is a black male, who is around the middle group. He was carrying a big suitcase and was eating a hotdog on his way to work. His opinion base on the American way of life is that making money is too difficult. “I just got off the train and on my way to my second job. Everyday of my life I wake up around 6am to take my kid to school and get to my office at 8am. Work my ass off for money till 3pm and run to my second job.” This person is working hard for money and I probably think that his wife is just being a lazy bitch.

The third person I interview is a Hispanic female, who is around the rich group. She was carrying 5 big bags and walking with her friends. Her opinion base on the American way of life is having a lovely family. “I just want to say thank you to my husband for making a lot of money. My kids are already heading to college and I just went shopping with my friends.” This person is lucky to have such a wonderful family and her American way of life is just having a lovely family. Interviewing different people from different area gave me the opportunity to learn more about the American way of life. Some people are having trouble facing life and some is just too happy for life. Every one of us has it own way of surviving the American way of life and so far everyone are explaining why money is the most important issue. Now this gives me a heads up in my future.

Americans define the world as selfish and unfair. I seem to agree with these people because life is unfair to me and i dont get what i want. Some people have a good life and they seem to enjoy it and others doesnt seem why the world is so cruel. Some ask what is AWOL? Some ask howcome freedom exist to some people. I see life as a balance. It gives u lucks and sometimes shit.
