Ebay Assignment

During the class discussion about the Ebay assignment, i was looking forward of winning something. Even though, i didnt know how the auctions goes. While, i made a account on ebay, i was sort of feeling anxious about this assignment, winning something that is completely new to me. While, looking for items such as sneakers and clothing i was completely shocked and happy that there are some items that i really wanted. i actually took freaking 2 weeks to look for the best shoes and i remember last wednesday; i was about to bid on the air jordan 7's. i asked my mom and she said was like are you crazy. Ebay sells fake shit and you dont know what kind of feets the other men has. but i was surprised that the items was so low and i really want those shoes. Talking about getting something on ebay, lets relates this back to the Capitalism. Customers dealing with auctions has the power to win anything they want. They're competing for the best cheap items and this is like the market prices. The seller is willing to sell his items for the highest bid, which is the demand. but there is a second chance of winning it which is related to the opporunity costs. Scarcity is also related to this ebay assignment, there is a lot of item that i wants but i couldnt afford and you dont actually know what is the highest bidder is and it is also limited. Overall, this experience about bidding is knowing how exactly the Capitalism runs in the society.

The 4th Amendment

The contitution has many amendment and i will like to write a breif summary about the 4th amendment. The 4th amendment states that the government is not aloud to search a person's house or take anything from them. i personally thinks that this amendment should be taken off because what happen, if that person's house maintain a secret package that can do serious harm. You never know whats going to happen and i just think this amendment should be banned. Terriorst loves to visit places and if they dont have guards to dig through their "shit" then it is a shamed. The reason i think this amendment should be banned it is because in reality when people comes to america, they bring others equinments and you never know what the world going to be like, when something "new" is being bought up.

Part B

The constitution has many requirement based on the laws and states. In article four "relations among the states, full faith and credit" the constitution states that congress has a important job for following each state's actions, records, nad judicial proceeding of every other states. The congress may be general laws prescrible the manner. Each states has their own laws to follow and must be respected by the congress. The congress needs to obey their own law by leaving the other states law, by giving each states their own freedom and needs. Constitution ensures that states cannot discriminate against people from other states. The federal government makes sure that citizens of the United States enjoy their full rights in every part of the nation. People that makes crime and decided to leave the state, without permission are to be removed from the state. The the sixth amendment states that any body who is accused of committing a crime is found guilty and go throught a serious of consquences. But the amendment also aloud to have a lawyer who will be presenting the case. Adding on more about the "full faith and credit" in terms of gay marriage that means that if a state allows gay marriage. they can get married in that state that does has gay marriages.

capitalism

Capitalism is an economic system in which goods and services are produced, distrubed and consumed through the mechanism of free market. Based deeply on the right to private property and the profit motive. There is several aspects of capitalism such as Land, Labor, and Capital. Land is an resources and help you set up the sell. Labor is all the worl that is neccesary to produce and sell(idea-shopping) and capital is the stuff to reshaped. These are all the system you need to make a market price. You also need the total amount of resources or products that will be bought up at all prices to make a huge busincess. In order to make big living you need a lot of good items and lower prices and may have to start a competitve advantage to bring costumer to buy yours goods. for example, if two owner are planing to sell schoolbag and people is trying to buy the cheap ones. In order to have a cost advantage, you need to have a price fixing, commodity, perfect exchangable. these are the sign if the quality or the price will affect your equilbrim. if your demand is increasing which means your price and qualility is increasing too. If your demand is decreasing your price and quality will decrease as well. If your supply goes up, your price will go down and your qualilty will go up and for supply thats goes down, your price will increase and your quality will decrease. if you are willing to make big profit you must maintain a good income and production.

The American Way of LIfe

Living in the United States, Americans live in their own aspect life. Not many people noticed what they are developing toward their lives. People have their own way of surviving and most likely some people don’t appreciate the American way of life. During this class discussion of the idea of the American way of life, there were many topics such as class, race, gender and many other topics. As I was interviewing people about their own personal thoughts on the American way of life, I notice that there were many patterns. Interviewing some strangers and neighbors around my block, many brought up the issues of making money, looking for business and receiving freedoms.
The first person I interview was around my school and she is a black single mother, who is taking care of 3 children and her disabled brother. By the way she dresses I think she is around the poor class. Her opinion about the American way of life is wondering why life is so hard to survive. “I am just a single mother and I just pick my kids up from school. Their father left them and I don’t think I can manage to watch my kids.” “I just want to know when I can get a break.” Basically, this single mother thinks that the American way of life is unsatisfied. It is overwhelming and distracting. Overall it is causing too much trouble for her to do many things at a time.
The second person I interview is a black male, who is around the middle group. He was carrying a big suitcase and was eating a hotdog on his way to work. His opinion base on the American way of life is that making money is too difficult. “I just got off the train and on my way to my second job. Everyday of my life I wake up around 6am to take my kid to school and get to my office at 8am. Work my ass off for money till 3pm and run to my second job.” This person is working hard for money and I probably think that his wife is just being a lazy bitch.
The third person I interview is a Hispanic female, who is around the rich group. She was carrying 5 big bags and walking with her friends. Her opinion base on the American way of life is having a lovely family. “I just want to say thank you to my husband for making a lot of money. My kids are already heading to college and I just went shopping with my friends.” This person is lucky to have such a wonderful family and her American way of life is just having a lovely family. Interviewing different people from different area gave me the opportunity to learn more about the American way of life. Some people are having trouble facing life and some is just too happy for life. Every one of us has it own way of surviving the American way of life and so far everyone are explaining why money is the most important issue. Now this gives me a heads up in my future.

Summary of "I,Pencil"

so basically, the main message of this passage, "I, Pencil" by Leonard E. Reaf is mainly about how pencil are being taken advantaged of, but they are actually have the same importance as automobiles., airplanes or a mechanical dishwasher. People doesn't realize how important is a pencil, which makes the pencil mad. To sum up what Leonard E. main point is that pencils are important than you think.

"I am a mystery- more so than a tree or a sunset or even a flash of lighting. But sadly, i am takeb for granted by those who use me, as if i were a mere incidnet and without background..." This means that people doesnt realize how much a pencil can be so important than researching about tree, sunset, and lighting instead of pencils. But people is just using the pencil and not dont take time to learn about it.

"I symbolize, you can help save the freedom mankind is so unhappily losing. I have a profound lesson to teach. And i can teach this lesson better than can an automobile or an airplane or a mechanical dishwasher because- well, because i am seemingly so simple." It doesnt take much out of your time, by knowing something about pencils. Whoever understand the importance of an pencil, can some how save the freedom whether than using automobile, etc. Pencil have the history of teaching and can teach much better.

Throughout this article, the main point is that pencil made a long history of being the world famous, everyone knows it but people doesnt realize what a pencil does. They didnt know that they are taking advantages of using a pencil and knowing nothing about it. basically, pencils are more important than you think.
